Chef Daniel Rodriguez Delivers Texas Flavors with Heart and Heritage

Born in sunny San Diego and Texas-raised from the age of 12, Executive Chef Daniel Rodriguez brings a lifetime of culinary passion to Provisions Georgetown. With 11 years of experience in the art of cooking, Chef has honed his skills in some of the most prestigious kitchens, including the Dallas Marriott Downtown and JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa. Before taking the reins as Executive Chef at Provisions, he was the Executive Sous Chef at the Westin RiverWalk San Antonio.

Chef Rodriguez's culinary journey began at the age of 15, washing dishes at Grumpy's Mexican Café—a local Mom & Pop restaurant that holds a special place in his heart. It's now owned by his mom and has even earned the title of #1 country café by the San Antonio Express News.

Growing up with four sisters and being the only boy, Chef found his place in the kitchen alongside his grandmother, where his love for cooking first took root. That early passion, combined with years of dedication and creativity, has shaped the flavorful and innovative dishes you'll find at Provisions today.
